About the Event:

As the financial inclusion industry matures, it is important to ensure that the risk management profession continues to grow, adapt, and professionalize. This webinar features a conversation between Kraig Conrad, CEO of Professional Risk Managers' International Association and Kevin Fryatt, Director of Risk Management Initiative in Microfinance.

SPEAKER

Kraig Conrad

Kraig Conrad leads the Professional Risk Managers' International Association in their mission to build sound risk practices, and bring their unique perspective and reputation for asking hard questions into a network that establishes risk management competency across industries and throughout financial institutions and regulatory agencies. Prior to PRMIA, Conrad served in leadership roles at National Investor Relations Institute, the Corporate Executive Board, and the Association for Financial Professionals. He began his career in investment banking at Credit Suisse First Boston after graduating from the University of Southern California.

Kevin Fryatt

Kevin is the Director of RIM and Risk Management Subject Matter Expert for Accion's Africa Board Fellowship Program. Previously, Kevin served as the Director of Advisory Services with MFX Solutions, leading capacity building work for over 30 FSPs in Sub-Saharan Africa. Kevin has also served as Microfinance Technical Advisor for World Relief, overseeing their microfinance network globally. Kevin was also part of the SEEP Financial Services Working Group which developed Microfinance Reporting Standards. He has served on numerous MFI boards and has worked in over 20 countries.

MODERATOR

Sa-Eun Park

Sa-Eun is the principal consultant at MagpieVenture, LLC, where she provides training, consulting and executive coaching services for inclusive financial service providers. She brings over a decade of experience in financial services, providing direct technical assistance to over 25 banks and microfinance institutions in 15 countries. Most recently she co-authored a practical guide to developing a double-bottom-line risk management system applying RIM's graduation model.
