This webinar features a practical methodology and a toolkit for microfinance institutions (MFIs) interested in developing a best practice risk management system. Sa-Eun Park

Sa-Eun is the principal consultant at MagpieVenture, LLC, where she provides training, consulting and executive coaching services for inclusive financial service providers. She brings over a decade of experience in financial services, providing direct technical assistance to over 25 banks and microfinance institutions in 15 countries. Most recently she co-authored a practical guide to developing a double-bottom-line risk management system applying RIM's graduation model.

SPEAKERS

Kevin Fryatt

Kevin is the Director of RIM and Risk Management Subject Matter Expert for Accion's Africa Board Fellowship Program. Previously, Kevin served as the Director of Advisory Services with MFX Solutions, leading capacity building work for over 30 FSPs in Sub-Saharan Africa. Kevin has also served as Microfinance Technical Advisor for World Relief, overseeing their microfinance network globally. Kevin was also part of the SEEP Financial Services Working Group which developed Microfinance Reporting Standards. He has served on numerous MFI boards and has worked in over 20 countries.

Magdy Moussa

Magdy Moussa is currently the Executive Director of Alexandria Business Association (ABA) in Egypt. He has more than 28 years of experience with international agencies, NGOs, and the Government of Egypt. He worked as a regional and global advisor for the World Bank, UNDP, IFAD, USAID, and AfDB, directed the work of PlaNet Finance in the Middle East and worked with the Near East Foundation in the Eastern Mediterranean region. Magdy has authored several internationally renowned papers and strategy documents in Egypt, Syria, Sudan, and a host of Gulf and African countries.
